Swati P. is a self-taught, student writer & researcher based in the Seattle area. She enjoys writing fiction and poetry centered around her South Asian culture and themes of femininity, mental health, and beauty standards. She is a prose editor at Temple Literary Magazine and her writing has also been recognized by the Scholastic Writing Awards. She is also part of the Mike Yarrow Peace Fellowship, where she was recognized towards her efforts against gender violence with Project Shakti. Besides writing, she enjoys listening to music, reading science fiction, and exploring new films.

Aishu is a student writer and artist based in New England, and a huge fan of exploring art in its many forms, especially the meaning and emotions that can exist beneath the surface. She enjoys works that explore inner struggles and beauty in South Asian culture, as well as stories that leave room for interpretation and continue to linger long after they end. Her writing experience has largely centered around creative prose, often drawing from personal experiences and South Asian culture. Outside of art and writing, she loves to learn about medicine and finding new ways to understand the world around her.

Anjushree is a budding writer who uses writing as a medium to voice her opinions and express her emotions. Specifically, she has a passion for writing poetry, having conducted research on using poetry for positive Asian representation in social media. She’s also very passionate about creating communal spaces for the South Asian diaspora, being present in leadership for clubs such as SASA and MSA.

Kashika Kumar is a 19 year old creative based in India. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Kyuu Studios, a youth-led publication exploring fandom, Internet culture, and contemporary pop culture. Her writing spans topics on identity, media, girlhood, and the experience of growing up online. Outside of writing and editing, she can be found reading manga, watching anime, writing fanfiction, and saving media for later consumption. She is particularly interested in the stories and subcultures that mainstream conversations tend to overlook.
